I'm an award-winning working-class writer, originally from Bordon, Hampshire.
To date, I have had two full-length plays produced by different companies, one of which enjoyed a UK Tour in 2019 (EUAN) to venues such as the Rose Theatre Kingston and Chichester Festival Theatre. I also run my own multi-arts production company, ChewBoy Productions, alongside numerous short film projects and shorter plays showcased across the UK. For 3 years, I worked at Chichester Festival Theatre in roles ranging from facilitating youth theatre workshops and projects to Digital Marketing, which I continue to develop my skills in through my company. Additionally, I am a versed dramaturg, having gained experience through organisations such as The Space, London, Salamander Street Publishing and London Playwrights Workshop (where I am also the current Literary Projects Manager) by developing new work and offering support, guidance and mentoring. I have 7 years worth of Facilitation experience, predominantly working with young people with additional needs and Young Carers, but also the elderly living with Dementia. Ultimately, I aim to be as inclusive as possible, and am passionate about showcasing unheard voices onstage and getting people involved in the arts who usually wouldn't be. I've led projects and schemes ranging from creative writing, to poetry to drawing and design both on Zoom and in person, and am a confident, personable and friendly facilitator who believes in a shared environment.
